BeaconFind updates often, and updates install quietly from inside the app. Here is what has shipped so far, newest first.

• New: a resource governor that eases off background indexing the moment you touch the machine, so the rest of your PC stays responsive.
• New: Repair Image Search in Settings, to re-run photo understanding on any images that were missed.
• Both the installer and the app itself are now code-signed and verified.
• Indexing now tells you the truth while it works: if a model is still downloading, it says so instead of looking stuck.
• AI chat can be cancelled instantly, closing the panel actually stops the work and frees the GPU.
